Depression is a severe clinical disease, or rather a disorder of the brain. Which is to feel "sad" in the day to day. Its symptoms begin at an early age as it is in adolescence, or also in women after giving birth (Postpartum Depression). The reasons for the appearance of this disease can be very variable, these can be due to genetic, biological, environmental and psychological factors.

Among its symptoms are: Feeling empty, feeling disinterested in social activities, increase or loss of appetite, loss of energy, insomnia, headaches, suicide ideas, digestive problems, etc.
In general, individuals who have this type of mental disorder, are very affected when you have to exercise their work and social needs. This is because they can not perform at their best or assume that they will not be able to give the best of themselves.

Its treatment consists of a combined action of pharmacological therapy with psychological support. The pharmacological treatment consists in the intake of antidepressant drugs such as tricyclic antidepressants, serotonin and norepinephrine inhibitors (SNRI), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI), medications for depression and remedies for depression.

If you suffer from these symptoms, do not hesitate to seek psychological help from a friend or professional psychologist.
Thanks
